[POETRY][03/19/26]Dreaming and Driving
by Alec Bagby
Trapped listening to paralyzing melodies by Sparklehorse while driving home as absurd visions take over my mind: big wooden boards covered in human sized duct tape stick figures.
Two of them: neon green and silver
A film or love is born. Click play and watch: the music plays on as I paint the emotions on their expressionless faces. Contrived synthetic blue tears as they try to find solace.
Always fleeting, I hope you had fun.
Spraying gasoline like champagne, I light them on fire.
Another classic, refreshing love story. Who is art? Whose is it?
Dreaming while driving, come by and look.
Trapped in the shower as well, her voice is water down the drain
